Ecuador was definitely a food experience as we tried fruits you can't find anywhere else,
as well as cuy, a large guinea pig, and a variety of what we call "fear factor" food that you don't try more than once.
Not your typical grocery store in the states, but very popular in every small
town in Ecuador. Just buy the parts you want!
Fruit, fruit, fruit is everywhere and cheap enough to get a truck full
with the change in your pocket.
Our least favorite meal on the table was anything served
with internal organs. Sometimes no matter what your mom
taught you, you just can't eat it to be polite.
Cuy (guinea pig) is popular for special occasions.
