Monthly
News
We are preparing to
return to South America in June and July to help with our continuing
mission projects in Quito and Guayllabamba. Cathy will also be going to
Honduras on a medical mission team through Crossroads Church.
Delta is now offering an introductory fare of 534.00 direct from ATL to
Quito which is a great rate! Anyone interested in participating at any
time this summer, please call or email us and let us know. We will be
there between June 15th and July 19th.
Our big request for this trip is donations to purchase reliable
transportation for the pastor in Guayllabamba. We hope to raise $5,000
which will purchase a dependable used vehicle. As it is now, he cannot
go to the mission churches he has started in the countries unless the
bus is running that day because their current car is not reliable for
long distance on dirt roads.
We continue to plan and save to return to the mission field full time
in the next 2 years. We will again work to support ourselves so that
all monies donated go 100% to the mission field.

we were able to participate in over the Christmas holidays.
Philippians
4:15
"Morever,
as you Philippians know,
in the early days of your acquaintance with the gospel, when I set out
from Macedonia, not one church shared with me in the matter of giving
and receiving, except you only...you sent me aid again and again when I
was in need."
Steve and I were sent to Ecuador by God to be a part of His work
because He
knew that that was where help was needed, that these people had been
faithful and were doing His work. Thankfully He gives different people
passions for various groups around the world so that if all answer the
call, the world gets covered! Whether it's in Russia with the Nelms,
Jamaica with the Stricklands, or a village in Africa that calls your
name, if you aren't a part of local missions, God may have your name on
a foreign mission field. All are equally valid in the work of God and
essential to spreading the great commission. You have no idea what the
help CMC
has been able to provide has meant to them and what it could do ten
times over all around the world. We are happy and willing to go, and
pray for the support that would allow us to return full time to this
area of the world.
