Working with the Ninos
en Riesgo de la Calle (Children at risk living in the streets) was
rewarding and challenging at the same time. It's hard to teach,
especially a child who has known no other way, that even though you
have to steal and often fight to survive day to day on the streets,
within the program's confines we want you to practice godly values and
principles and work to change your life with Jesus Christ. It all
sounds good on paper, but with only 4 hours a day, 4 days a week, and
half that time focused on physical needs, it requires a lot of prayer,
hard work, and volunteers to be successful.
We will continue to work with teams to Ecuador to be the support for
the programs we have started and work with there and go wherever God
leads us!
